Student Interns (Graduate Students)
Program Overview
The AzTE Student Internship Program provides Arizona State University graduate students from a variety of disciplines, including law, business, engineering and science, an opportunity to work with AzTE's team in commercial research and analysis of portfolio technologies. The program is intended to enhance AzTE's commercial understanding of technologies while providing the students with an interesting educational experience. Students are exposed to the “life-cycle” of a technology from its initial disclosure and evaluation through to licensing or spin-out company formation. Students are responsible for writing reports assessing technical and commercial viability of inventions submitted to AzTE, identifying potential investors or licensees, developing marketing materials for ASU inventions, conducting financial analyses for negotiations, and assisting on the underlying deal documents.
