Lillian joined AzTE in August 2017 and serves as Manager, Intellectual Property Services. As a registered patent agent, she works closely with ASU faculty to identify and pursue legal protection for innovation in the physical sciences domain.
Prior to joining the AzTE team, Lillian worked as a patent agent in the semiconductor industry, preparing and prosecuting applications as relates to flip chip and wafer level packaging technologies.
She also worked as an engineer, researching materials and processes for advanced semiconductor technologies, and collaborating with customers across a broad spectrum of applications.
Prior to employment in the semiconductor industry, Lillian was part of a targeted research team to conceive, develop and legally protect leading-edge energy storage technologies for application in mobile devices requiring compact form factor and high energy density.
Lillian holds an MS degree in Materials Science from The Pennsylvania State University, and a BS degree in Ceramic Engineering from The University of Washington. She is an inventor on five United States Patents.
